Course was informative and interesting. The ability to complete the coursework at my own pace was a great feature of this course.

I actually feel like I learned some useful math skills in this class that apply to real life. The first half was a breeze but after that, one really needs to pay attention, learn the formulas, and read very carefully!
by Joseph P. on September 20, 2017
Good course with easy to understand content. However, i noticed a lot of contradictions between modules and questions on the milestones. The content should be reviewed for accuracy and/or misleading questions.

My first course with Sophia. Throughout, I tried to find a "best approach" for taking the course (e.g., what notes and formulas to capture, go to challenges first then review other topics or review all tutorials first then challenges, etc.). Eventually, I found my what works best and was able to complete the course. In regards to content, navigation and tutorials, they were are all well done.

Overall, good course. The work was difficult at times, but reasonable. Exactly what you would expect from an online class. Staff/customer service and the videos were very helpful and the time frame given is doable.
by Jameka T. on September 14, 2017
The content in the course was helpful in reading & learning, but I wish there was more structure practice to assist in forming a full essay. It would've been helpful with practicing the formatting, because this program went from creating a paragraph to a full essay. There should have been a bit more of a transition between the two.
by Alexandra H. on September 13, 2017
The units where the only tutorial is a recorded one with her words written underneath were harder to follow (I think they were mostly in unit 6). That's my only commnent!
by Ellen Ulrike N. on September 10, 2017
I found the questions at the final very difficult compared to the exams before. I didn't think it would be so difficult. Especially the proctoring was such an issue. I couldn't finish one day because the lady there had no clue what she was doing and had to wait another day to finish where I didn't have a babysitter watching my kids. Thankfully they were quite cooperative. The course as such was ok but sometimes I found the lingo not very clear, many repetitions in the speech of the instructor. I used Amanda because she has scripts of her videos but these are as I said often redundant and not very clear and to the point.
